Destiny by Choice

fullsizerender-4Okay so attempt “one million and one” – here we go. About a week ago I spent 3 intense days at a personal mastery seminar with an outstanding group of people. It was a unique experience full of wisdom, to say the least.

One concept in particular continues to linger in my mind and startles me a bit – the idea, that if you do not make a decision, that in it of it-self, is a choice.

Now, in most cases I would do my research on the concept, come to a logical consensus with both parts of my brain (especially the side of my brain telling me God knows what about the subject) and forget about it, but in this case, this matter is worth discussing. After this incredible eye opening theory was presented to me, I decided that it  would be foolish not to explore the possibility of living in control of every decision I make. So there I was on a Wednesday afternoon highly caffeinated, making the choice to give this “blogging thing” a real 100 percent chance of survival, through some authentic, heart-felt work.

Let’s get back to the possibilities of living life by choice.  If, in fact, you have all of the control, then this means that you can work a job you enjoy. Let me repeat that, “ work doing what you love, work your dream job.” What would change in your life? Productivity of your work would certainly increase and your performance would be at an all time high. In a utopian world, you would get a salary increase, which would allow you to finally invest in your looks. In other words you would finally have the money to pay for that $300+ hot yoga membership you swear will change your life. Three months later you would find yourself dating that one guy you always run into but thought was too good for you. This is all due to your increased confidence because you have lost some weight, thanks to that salary increase because of the choices you made.  Isn’t that something pleasant to think about?

In an ideal scenario, living by choice will make this world a better place. People would be happy and generate generosity – living without judgement, helping without expectations, and allowing yourself to love in every way.  It can be agreed that in theory, if you don’t make those decisions someone else will make them for you – because not choosing is a decision.

Why Social Media Marketing Should be a Career Choice for a Journalist?

As I shared a Facebook post about passion for social media I reflected on how I ended up in the field of digital marketing. Here are my thoughts on why I enjoy working in this field, the future of social media and how I apply journalism skills to marketing.

The last couple of years have been interesting (to say the least) trying to figure out what my calling is in the field of journalism and all my experience has brought me to the world of social media marketing, I love it. I have drifted from on-camera work experience to focus on production and marketing for two major reasons. First, I strongly believe that the future of marketing and communication is through social media, and second because you are able to tell stories through social media.

With the help of social media you can market people from all over the world. This can reflect more product sales for your business and ultimately a higher profit margin at the end of the year.

Not only can social media help you with sales, but it can also help you have a presence and influence others. Today, how many people do you know that don’t have at least one social media account? Through your posts you are able to communicate and influence those who follow you. Social media is the future of communication.

Reflexión: Mi Carrera No Tiene Fronteras

¿Quieres hacer algo?
